MESSMATE SCREEN, WATERFALL GULLY

Messmate is a eastern Australian hardwood that is light in tone with dark sap and grain lines. Also known as Tasmanian Oak, and brown top Stringy bark, Messmate originates in the South East of Australia. Messmate is dense and hard wearing. In this job we used Messmate to build a privacy screen, replacing an open tube fence. We fixed the Messmate with chunky bugle screws to complete the solid chunky look. After all, good fences make for good neighbours 🙂
