Blackbutt Deck, The rockford Hotel

The Rockford Hotel, on Hindley street in the heart of Adelaide, wanted to Spruce up their Alfresco area. We removed the old deck to allow the construction of the New BlackButt deck, keeping the existing perimeter stone wall. BlackButt is an extremely hardy Australian native, with a light colour ranging from pale brown to cream, with a hint of pink. BlackButt fades over time to an even pale cream. We cut an opening in the stone wall, and built a set of BlackButt stairs to allow access directly to the footpath. 

The new deck freshens up the front of the Rockford, and matches with the extensive renovations and remodelling the Rockford is receiving.
